Corporate Governance is often one of the most overlooked, yet vital aspects of running a sustainable and profitable entity.
Exclusive Community and Sports Management (ECSM) was formed in 2003 to meet the need for governance, funding and administrative support that many small to medium sized sporting community organisations have.
This includes those where the majority of tasks are being undertaken by talented, but time poor volunteers as well as larger organisations with dedicated employees. Since our inception, ECSM has grown to support both sporting and not-for-profit community organisations alike throughout Australia and has assisted organisations to receive more than $25 million in the last 3 years alone.
The purpose of ECSM is to make growing and developing your organisation as easy as possible, without impacting on your cash flow. ECSM’s core activities include:
- The sourcing of Public Sector and Philanthropic funding
- Project implementation/management, where required
- Acquittal/outcomes reporting
This is to enable you to get on with delivering your activities and not leaving you tied up in administration or red tape. We also provide a range of services and support activities through our network including business planning, volunteer management, marketing and promotional activities, depending on your individual needs.
HOW IT WORKS
One of the most common activities undertaken by ECSM is to work with organisations to identify their funding needs, whether for infrastructure, equipment, program delivery or planning and then develop a number of funding submissions on behalf of the organisation to seek funding to cover the cost of these needs.
Once successful, ECSM then supports the organisation to deliver the project as needed and organises all funding acquittals as required.
ECSM operates on a “no win, no pay” basis so that your organisation is never out of pocket when working with ECSM. Once the project is successful and the project has been confirmed between your organisation and the funding partner, we charge a 10% commission, only on the approved project cost and up to a capped amount for larger projects. This will also cover project reporting and acquittal requirements to ensure you will be able to successfully deliver the project. For organisations that prefer to operate on a fixed cost basis, ECSM can provide a range of services and submissions based on an hourly rate or a negotiated fixed project cost.
